Californians recycled a record 7.6 billion beverage containers between January and June 2008 raising the six-month California Refund Value (CRV) recycling rate to 76 percent. The jump is an increase of nearly 600 million beverage containers over the same period in 2007 when the recycling rate was 72 percent.

Looking to install multiple water and/or energy efficiency at one time? Start here.

This program takes a whole-house approach to the energy and water efficiency rebates that RPU already offers, providing a “one stop shop” for those who intend to apply for more than one efficiency rebate at one time.

By participating in at least two energy and/or water efficiency programs at one time, you can make your home more efficient and receive higher rebates than if you were using just one program.

The Whole House Rebate Program was created for homeowners who are in the process of making major home improvements and for those making property investment improvements.

Weatherization

Program type: Energy Savings
Whole House rebate points available: 1 - 8 (depending on measure installed)
Earn rebates for installing energy efficiency measures in your home such as:
- Whole house fan ($100, limit 1)
- Solar attic fans ($100, limit 2)
- Standard attic fans ($50, limit 2)
- Energy Star Rated Windows ($1 per sq. ft.) must be Energy Star rated windows
- Window film ($1 per sq. ft.) must be National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) certified.
- Duct Insulation/Replacement ($25 per run, $500 max.)
- House Envelope Sealing and Duct Sealing (50% of cost, up to $350)
- Cool Roof coatings or products (20 cents per sq. ft. flat/low slope/10 cents per sq. ft. steep slope)
- Insulation rebates - R-30 or greater attic insulation (15 cents per sq. ft.) and R-13 or greater wall insulation (15 cents per sq. ft.)
  insulation rebates will be calculated to nearest R-value, maximum of 8 points for insulation (based on a 2 points per 500 sq.ft.)
